Terry Laney represents the third generation of quality construction and building. As owner of T. Laney Construction, Terry brings more than 30 years experience to the Austin area. Terry Laney has witnessed Austin’s roads and skyline develop, watched corporate relocation activity bring newcomers to the city and seen land and home values escalate. It’s with great pride that he claims that he has been around constant construction activity ever since he can remember. It all started with Terry’s grandfather who paved some of the initial thoroughfares in Austin moving to Terry’s father who worked on a number significant building projects in the Austin area. Terry’s career began in commercial contracting in the early 80’s. Terry owned several commercial contracting companies. In the mid 90’s, Terry found the Texas Hill Country west of Austin realizing that it was a special place to build a home. Turns out that he was right, as there has been a slab for luxury home building. Seizing the opportunity to develop a name for himself in custom/luxury home building, Terry has moved T. Laney Construction into custom pool designs, as well. Terry Laney's success in home building as well as customer satisfaction became evident when one of his homes was entered in the Home Builder Association of Greater Austin 2005 Parade of Homes®. Terry won 13 out of 15 design awards. In addition, Terry won the Max Award (Marketing & Advertising Excellence).
